MINEX 2025 is Starting
Hosted by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and organized by İZFAŞ, MINEX – the 11th International Mining, Natural Resources and Technologies Expo will be held at Fuar İzmir between September 3-6, 2025. Concurrently, the IMMAT – 10th International Mining Machinery and Technologies Congress, organized by the Izmir Branch of the Chamber of Mining Engineers of Türkiye (TMMOB), will also take place.
First time with the “International” title
This year, for the first time, MINEX will be held with the title of “International.” It has also been awarded the “Internationally Approved Event Certificate” by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), making it the only mining expo in Türkiye to hold this distinction. Thus, MINEX further strengthens its reliability and global prestige in the industry, while showcasing Türkiye’s potential in mining technologies more visibly on the international stage.
Raising the bar higher this year
At the previous expo, 16,134 professional participants came together, including 1,742 international visitors from 40 countries and 14,392 domestic visitors from 55 cities. Hundreds of companies participated, where both new business connections were established and existing relationships were strengthened.
For MINEX 2025, the goal is to exceed previous years in both exhibitor diversity and visitor numbers. Nearly a threefold increase in international participation is expected, with companies from countries such as Germany, Austria, China, France, and Japan taking part. The expo will also bring together Türkiye’s domestically produced machinery and technologies with global markets.
During the expo, a wide range of product groups will be exhibited, including mineral exploration, crushing, screening, drilling, transportation, ore preparation, and occupational safety equipment. The visitor profile will consist of mining and natural stone enterprises, engineers, consulting firms, public institution representatives, academics, and students.
Academia and industry under one roof
Held simultaneously with MINEX, the 10th International Mining Machinery and Technologies Congress (IMMAT-2025), organized by the Izmir Branch of TMMOB Chamber of Mining Engineers, will also take place at Fuar İzmir. The congress will bring together academia and industry representatives, contributing to technical and scientific development in the field of mining.
Within the scope of the congress, recent advancements will be presented and discussed in a scientific framework on topics such as mining operations, ore preparation and beneficiation processes, production technologies of natural stones and industrial minerals, and mining machinery and equipment used in tunneling.
